Met up with Kairu, Shihui, Eunice, Amanda and Siang Meng today :)
Thought of my NUS days and how I pretty much lived like a hermit in my first few years. Didn't really make the effort to know anyone new, and pretty much stuck to my own familiar space. Yet God in His graciousness provided me with some closer friends in my honours year in social work, and yup, looking back, I truly thank God for His provision and love :)
It was great catching up with the girls, and Siang Meng :)
On one hand, I think I'm just starting to understand why people often say friendship is a gift :) On the other, it also got me questioning how close is "close", and whether I actually have close "close" friends... Quite a scary thought, I must say.
Well, I guess it will become clearer to me when I start thinking of the people whom I'd like to invite to my wedding... But that of course, is for a later time :)
