Lord, help me to remember that I am a child of yours and that you're always in control :)

Help me to love you more :)

next week will be the last CG with my girls, as i won't be taking them next year :( i know i will miss them (i'm already starting to), but i also know that there is a time and season for everything, and it's high time to slow down and focus more on studying God's Word and spending time with my family :)

as i was doing my annual stock-take this weekend, here's what i've lined up for 2010: QT, newspapers, fruits, jogging/swimming/cycling, driving and piano lessons. i've also decided to throw in a treat! scrapbooking! :D

i guess 2009 has been a really tough year for me, and as i found out, i'm really quite an emo nemo :( i guess transiting to work life really meant i had to grow up, fast, and perhaps in many ways i've struggled hard and fought back, because i've always been child-like, and i've always liked the way i am, or at least most of the time.

just as i'm starting to resent the person i've been in 2009: lazy, grumpy and self-centred, i really pray that 2010 will be a better year for me :) key principles for 2010 are: intimacy with God, obedience, balance and discipline. i really hope to grow deeper in my relationship with God and my loved ones, and grow wiser in how i manage my time, finances and responsibilities :)

to a year of optimism, growth and love: 2010, please be nice to me :)

Camp Survivor, 8 - 10 Sep 2009

video

Just came back from Camp Survivor: a 3D2N camp at OBS Pulau Ubin for our Sec 1 - 3 clients with mild physical challenges. Brought the kids to discover more about themselves through the great outdoors, and it was an awesome experience :) Really touched deeply by how each of them struggled, fought hard, outdid themselves, and even learned how to encourage and help one another out along the way :) I have great great kids! :) Really want to thank God for the good weather, the safety of all the campers, his abundant provision and love :) Thank you dear Lord, thank you OBS, and thank you dear kids. I can't stop smiling like a proud parent!

P.S. I love my mummy :) She makes me laugh. Hehe.

Nothing beats a quiet night in my favourite space with my favourite music :)

Loving life, and wishing this moment could freeze in time.
