this time of the year leaves pockets of time to think about all the years of your life that have fleetingly passed you by. and somehow disappointments seem to loom over you even though a small, still (and somehow politically correct) voice tells you, "hey, you really have a lot to be thankful for, yuan." if only life could be that bit different, you would always bargain with God. and then you realize you are really not that happy after all.

teach me to truly be thankful dear Lord. for starters, remind me of your love daily :) love.
