life is a myriad of emotions. thankfully God is always in control.
was reading through the blogs of my CG girls and realized that I'm getting old. i'm an oldie =/ hehe.
i like my girls... they're very silly, funny and hyper :) of course the downside is that they're super distracted in Bible study, but it's alright because they're all growing up. slowly but surely, through prayer and guidance, i believe God will mould and shape each of them into who He wants them to be :)
teenhood is a time of exploration, where one struggles to find one's place in this world:
"who am I?"
"what's the meaning in my life?"
"why study so hard?"
"why don't my parents understand me?"
"why can't I just do what I like?"
"why can't I be happy?"
such questions bog us down and we feel super emo. we start to question God and feel lousy about our lives.
but such questions also make life all the more interesting. we've been wired up to search for meaning and it's because of this endless pursuit for a sense of purpose that we feel most alive... and we grow.
so... junie, anne, jacelyn, danielle, natalie, lindsay and sher may, praying for each of you that you will one day find meaning and happiness in life. may each of you continue to grow in the wisdom and love of Christ.
of course, not forgetting you, jasmine.
